Matroid Psi Classes

Abstract: Matroid Chow rings have played a central role in recent developments in matroid theory. In this talk, I’ll discuss parallels between matroid Chow rings and Chow rings of moduli spaces of curves, leading to a new and simplified understanding of many important properties of matroid Chow rings.
